한국교통안전공단 서울본부는 서울시 및 지자체와 합동으로 서울지역 자동차 종합검사장 60곳 전체를 대상으로 검사 실태를 점검한 결과, 현장시정조치 및 개선명령 7건의 행정지도를 했다.

주요 점검사항으로는 △불법개조자동차 검사합격 여부 △검사방법 준수 여부 △불량검사장비 사용 여부 △영상장면 및 결과기록관리 여부 △기술인력 확보 여부 등을 중점 살폈다.
특히, 검사 불합격이 저조한 업체, 검사기록 모니터링 결과 특이사항이 있는 업체, 검사원 변동이 많은 업체에 대해서 부실검사 여부를 세밀히 점검했다.
한편, 한국교통안전공단 서울본부는 지난해 하반기 합동점검에서 카메라 화질불량, 검사장 피트 안전덮개 미설치 등 6개 분야 11건 대해 시설 개선을 권고와 현장시정조치를 11건의 행정지도를 했다.
